A Pasadena news conference sponsored by the newly formed Singpoli Entertainment welcomed ETTV Idol singers to the dusitD2 Hotel Constance where the group announced their concert Saturday, March 31, at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula.
Singpoli CEO Kin Hui has partnered with Emmy Award winning music composer Nathan Wang to create the new entity.
“Singpoli Entertainment will become the leader of Asian entertainment companies to enter the America market,” he said. “We will be a good partner that collaborates with American companies to develop the Asian market.”
Hui said he was excited to be involved with creative people and said the partnership with ETTV and the ETTV Idol contest was a good showcase for Singpoli’s new venture.
Wang, who has scored several films, including Jackie Chan’s “Who Am I?” and “Police Story 4: First Strike”, said the singers, all of whom are past winners of the ETTV Top Idol program, were among the best talent he’s seen in Los Angeles.
“I think it’s a very exciting time to actually have this happening,” Wang said.
“I see the bridge between America and China taking place right now before our very eyes,” he said.
