NORWALK (CNS) – Two young men were arrested today in Compton following a home invasion robbery in Norwalk.

A gun was used during the robbery, which was reported about 1:10 p.m. in the 11800 block of 160th Street, according to Sgt. Godin Gonzalez of the sheriff’s Norwalk Station.

Shortly after the robbery, deputies in Compton went into pursuit of a vehicle being driven recklessly, Gonzalez said.

The driver was detained but the passenger fled, according to Gonzalez.

A perimeter was established in the area of the 400 block of Palmer Street, near Alameda Street, and the second suspect was located after a search that lasted around an hour, Gonzalez said.

The robbery victim, who was not injured, identified property found in the car as being taken during the robbery and one of the suspects as being involved, Gonzalez said.

The suspects were identified as Jalen Hall, 19, and Millard Hill, 18, Gonzalez said.

The suspects’ places of residence were not immediately available.
