LONG BEACH (CNS) – A man was behind bars today on suspicion of fatally shooting another man in Long Beach.
Carlos Gustavo Ohm, 29, of Long Beach, was arrested about 9:20 a.m. Tuesday and booked on suspicion of murder, according to the Long Beach Police Department. He was being held on $2 million bail.
The shooting occurred about 2:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of Daisy Avenue, which is near a homeless encampment where investigators believe the victim had been living, police said. The man killed was Felipe Solorio-Nava, 38.
Police were unsure of a motive for the crime, but said it did not appear to have been gang-related.
