Feds say Pomona cops lied and tried to cover up 2015 beating of teen at County Fair

A trio of Pomona police officers, including a sergeant in the
department’s Internal Affairs Division, have been indicted in Los Angeles
federal court for alleged civil rights violations stemming from the arrest of a teenage boy at the Los Angeles County Fair in 2015.

Federal authorities said the officers lied about their actions on police reports and doctored video evidence to make it appear that their beating of a young man was justified.

Pomona police officers Chad Jensen, Michael Neaderbaomer and Prince Hutchinson are expected to appear for their initial federal court appearances this afternoon, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
