GARDEN GROVE (CNS) – A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary for allegedly smashing through a front window of a supermarket in Garden Grove, where police this morning found the suspect hiding inside.

Officers were dispatched at 12:56 a.m. to a burglary alarm at the Best Choice Supermarket, 12081 Brookhurst St., where a man was seen inside and who allegedly hid upon seeing officers, said Garden Grove police Sgt. Bob Stephenson.

“Officers gave the suspect multiple commands to exit the business, but he did not comply,” Stephenson said. “Officers conducted a search of the interior of the business and the suspect was located hiding inside.”

Garden Grove resident Luke Carrillo was arrested on suspicion of burglary and booked into the Orange County Jail, he said.
