LOS ANGELES (CNS) – Former Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to speak at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College next Thursday before two fundraisers for his campaign for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.
Biden will “lay out his vision for America and listen to voters’ concerns and ideas around restoring the soul of the nation, rebuilding the middle class and unifying the country,” according to the campaign.
Admission to what is billed as a community event at the college south of downtown Los Angeles is free. Tickets are available at www.mobilize.us/joebiden/event/152742/ Doors open at 2 p.m. with the event beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Biden will hold 5 p.m. reception at The Riveter event space in West Los Angeles, with tickets priced at $100, $250, $500 and $1,000, and a later reception at the Pacific Palisades home of Rick Lynch, the owner of the entertainment marketing firm BLT Communications, and music video producer Lanette Phillips. Tickets for the second reception are priced at $500 and $2,800, the maximum individual contribution during the primary campaign.
