California considers rules for transition to zero-emission buses

Transit agencies could soon have new regulations on zero-emission technologies, courtesy of the California Air Resources Board.

Transit agencies will be allowed to take advantage of incentive programs offered by federal and state government under the proposed rules. The proposal also urges officials to become early adopters and implement plans that are best suited for their communities and customers.
