Consumers wary of buying EVs because they don’t know how the cars work


Consumers are wary of electric vehicles because they don’t understand how the car works or the technology behind the vehicles, according to a new survey by WhatCar?

The survey examined consumer attitudes to electric vehicles (EVs) and found that buyers showed substantial understanding – 3.8 out of five – of how a petrol or diesel car works but only 2.7 out of five for a high-tech, low-emission vehicle, according to an article on by James Fossdyke.
