There will be no train service to Gold Line’s South Pasadena Station from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 30 due to scheduled maintenance. Buses will replace train service between Fillmore and Highland Park stations while the work is performed, with buses set to match the train schedules as best as possible.
“Regular service to all stations will resume after 7:30 p.m. Saturday,” Metro spokesman Steven Arellanes said Thursday, adding that work-related delays could change this.
Shuttle buses will stop at Filmore, South Pasadena and Highland Park while Southern California Edison crews perform maintenance on electrical systems at South Pasadena station. Southbound trains will travel as far as Fillmore Station and return to APU/Citrus, while northbound trains return to Union Station at Highland Park.
A similar closure shut down Memorial Park, Lake and Allen stations last weekend as well.
Another closure is scheduled for the same stations the following Saturday, April 6. However, that closure will last until midnight, and could be followed by additional shutdowns depending on work progress.
