New efforts to regulate self-driving cars face a tough road

Bipartisan senate leaders are working to reintroduce legislation for federal regulations on self-driving cars, which has stalled in the past, according to published reports.

The Hill, a political newspaper and website published in Washington, D.C. , reported that Senate Majority Whip John Thune (R-S.D.) is looking to reintroduce the AV START Act soon.
