The Fourth Revolution
Late last year, the California Air Resources Board approved a new rule that requires all public transportation agencies in the state to convert their buses to electric by 2040. The Antelope Valley Transit Authority is going to beat that deadline by a cool 21 years.
AVTA will complete the conversion of its fleet of 75 buses to all-electric by the end of June to become the first zero-emission fleet in North America, according to Macy Neshati, executive director and CEO of the agency.
