Lead O.J. Simpson prosecutor retires

William Hodgman, part of the prosecution team in the murder trial of football star OJ Simpson announced his retirement Friday, officials said.

Hodgman became a nationally recognized celebrity during the Simpson murder trial in 1994 and 1995.

Hodgman’s departure was part of an executive management change at the District Attorney’s office. Prior to his retirement, Hodgman served as an Assistant District Attorney.
